The Childhood Cancer Canada Foundation

Linda and I were excited to attend The Childhood Cancer Canada Foundation's Purple Party this year! The event's success allowed the foundation to "exceed their goal of raising $100,000 to fund the best childhood cancer research, programs and services across Canada," says Melody K., Director of Development at the CCCF.

It was a fun and inspirational night with a live auction, raffle draws and presentations by childhood cancer heroes. We are honoured to do our part in the fight against childhood cancer at Miche with our Hope Shell collections. A portion of our Hope Shell sales is donated to the CCCF.

For the month of November we are featuring the Wounded Warrior Foundation as our Charity of Choice. For every Hope (black/white) Shell sold, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Foundation. Christina L. of Nova Scotia shares her story with us.

My name is Christina L. and I have been a Miche Representative for just over a year, but I have been a Military Spouse for 7 years and would not change a thing about it. Yes, being a Military Spouse means moving and being alone for long or short periods of time and not knowing what your other half is doing or how much danger they are in but it has also made me very proud of what he is doing for a living and all the others that he works with. I feel with November and Remembrance Day fast approaching, it is a great opportunity for Miche to show support to our Canadian Forces. I feel that Remembrance Day has become a one-day or one-hour event in most of our minds but for our Veterans and wounded soldiers, this is something they deal with every day.

Thank you for sharing your story with us.

It is indeed a very worthy cause and we are honoured to consider it. Not only do our troops do a valued service but so do the women behind them. As such, thank you! Our hearts and thoughts are with you.
Kind regards,

Linda & the Miche team

Did you know that the Hope (Black/White) Shell was the very first Hope Shell that inspired Miche's Hope initiative?

The Black and White Hope Shell was the Shell that inspired Miche Canada's desire to give back. From that moment on, a portion of all Hope Shell sales have been donated to charity. The Prima Shell is simple in design with inspirational quotes and packs a powerful message!
