September is Childhood Cancer Month
We are so close! We need your help to reach our Goal!
For the Month of June, a portion of the Hope Pink Love Classic and Prima Shells sales will go towards the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
Our Hope Collection is both a great source of pride and an honour for my husband and I to support. What originally started as a one-month event in 2007 has developed into a way of thinking and a fundamental part of our organization. Our Hope Shells mean so much to so many different people. Over the years, Hope Shell designs have been beautiful, fun, inspiring, moving, bold, childlike, defiant, radiant and sweet.
Linda and I were excited to attend The Childhood Cancer Canada Foundation's Purple Party this year! The event's success allowed the foundation to "exceed their goal of raising $100,000 to fund the best childhood cancer research, programs and services across Canada," says Melody K., Director of Development at the CCCF.
We must remember that one determined person can make a significant difference, and that a small group of determined people can change the course of history. - Sonia Johnson
For the month of November we are featuring the Wounded Warrior Foundation as our Charity of Choice. For every Hope (black/white) Shell sold, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Foundation. Christina L. of Nova Scotia shares her story with us.
At our Miche Fest in London this past Sunday we renewed our commitment to the Childhood Cancer Canada Foundation and presented a ceremonial cheque for funds donated to date. Read what Kendra D. had to say on behalf of the Childhood Cancer Canada Foundation.
REMINDER: There are just a few days left in September to contribute to our Charity of Choice. Allison R. of British Columbia shares her story with us as she and her two sons enter the next milestone in their life.
Kimberley L. of Alberta shares a video with us, highlighting "the true spirit of Albertan's." High River, Exsha, Canmore and some areas of Calgary are still dealing with the aftermath. "I just wanted to send out a huge thank you for choosing the Canadian Red Cross for the charity of choice this month, I am happy to say that my last party held raised $300 for this great cause. Currently, the company I am working for is matching our donations as well."
